Cartagena, an escape at any time of the year

As well as being a magnet for tourists during festivals and carnivals, Cartagena is becoming an entrepreneurial hub with many interesting enterprises setting up shop. Below, we present two discoveries to add to that long list of experiences that La Heroica has in store for you.

Celele

Chefs and researchers, Jaime Rodríguez and Sebastián Pinzón spent two years gaining experience with the Proyecto Caribe Lab, a kind of gastronomic experimentation laboratory that took them from San Andrés to La Guajira. In December 2018, they took all that knowledge and used it to found Celele: a 42-seat bar restaurant that offers contemporary Caribbean cuisine, with a commitment to local producers and seasonal ingredients.

Head to Calle del Espíritu in the bohemian neighborhood of Getsemaní to discover this restaurant and be a part of this innovative sensorial experience which fuses avant-garde techniques with the distinctive flavors of the Atlantic Coast.
